I decided to hire out the steel roofing. I'm glad I did. It was scarry high and never having
worked with steel before, I would have been challanged to make it look good. Steel does not
hide any of the roof's mistakes. The roofer miscut one panel and has to return next week after
he gets more material to finish up. However, the house is dried in.
You can see the notches the roofers snip into the hip ridge. These allow the ridge cap to
fit snuggly over the standing ribs of the steel panels.
